I had promised my friend to visit him and go for cycling this Sunday so I left my apartment at 10:30 to visit him in Amsterdam Zuidoost. Took the usual route from Diemen. Reached his place in 30 minutes. There we made the usual heavy Pakistani style breakfast and ate it 🙂
Having two tooth extraction (one of them being Wisdom tooth) and a filling in span of less than 2 weeks, I was feeling extremely exhausted all the time. We didn’t had anything planned so we decided that we’ll cycle to Gaasperplas and then towards Weesp.
Weesp is a town and a municipality in the province of North Holland. It lies next to the rivers de Vecht and Smal Weesp and also next to the Amsterdam-Rhine Canal. It is only 3 km from the end of the Amsterdam metro line 53, but the wide Amsterdam-Rhine Canal keeps it geographically separate. The town is surrounded by open grassland. It was a very short trip around 2 hours and we cycled in Weesp and it’s neighbourhood. Following are some of the interesting pictures that I took,
